Please Read: Book is meant to be poking fun!

Alright, this book has a lot of high and low points but I'm going to tell you now: This book is MEANT to make fun of those "inspirational quotes", not to actually BE them.

And to parents that want to get this book for your kid, ask yourself this: Are they in High School? Then buy it. And if your child buys it for themselves don't confiscate it. Parents are blind to what goes on in younger society and I can say that once you hit high school your innocence is pretty much gone, same with your filter.

My recommended age group however, is 16 to about 20. This book really is meant to target teens because it's basically a slap of reality.

I've been suffering with depression for a long time, and I've read this book during my low points to pick me back up (if you can believe that, then keep reading). The jokes are meant to poke fun at how there are inspirational quotes all over the Internet, and yet most people don't do anything past making a pretty quote on paper. The book itself is basically like a huge joke, and the with an ending like "I lied" I would hope that many would see that.

This book is not anymore of a joke than those "journal" books (that I've done so many of in attempts to keep my depression in check). Sure it's not what you expect, but it really is a pleasant book when you understand it on a basic level as humor and a cool play on irony.

Buy at your own risk, if you're not ready to handle a slap in the face by reality kids then don't take it. If you're an adult buying for a child check it out at a local bookstore first, or just buy it as I said and let them experience it.

but it's a fun book full of funny

This book is fabulous! A literary genius up there with the likes of Dickens, Shakespeare, and Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul. Every word is finely crafted, and the illustrations are works of art worthy of hanging in the Louvre . . .

Ok, so maybe it isn't ALL that, but it's a fun book full of funny, pseudo-inspirational quotes (many of which Pewdiepie's fans will recognize from his videos). I can guarantee you that even if you don't know who Pewdiepie is, you will still find the book entertaining. This book is well worth the money (and it LOVES you)!

Not much practical "art"

Don't be misled into buying this book if, like me, you were looking for a wealth of instructions on how to actually create inlay work. This book is primarily a showcase of "finished results." There is an abundance of beautiful and amazing pictures of finished inlays, mostly on guitar fingerboards, etc. There is no question that these are examples of some of the best professional work, but very little in the way of practical advice on doing inlay. If you're only looking for "inspiration" and multiple examples of the aesthetics of fine inlay, you'll probably like this book. For actual step-by-step instructions and tips on how to perform the craftsmanship involved, you're likely to be disappointed. I gave it only three stars because I think the title is misleading.

Alot of inspiring depictions

I bought this book to give me some insight into doing inlays for a custom build I currently have underway. I give 4 stars rather than 5 just due to the tecnical descriptions being a little lighter than expected. The provided examples of inlays however is overwhelming! Some truly incredible and inspiring works shown in full color pictures. Back to the tecnical discussion, the methods required to do this are covered and I suppose the "briefness" really leans toward the fact that hands-on is so much more of this than the theory. The author gives the required info for one to then sit down and go hands-on. I do recommend this book for anyone seriously planning to get hands-on with inlay work.

I've been waiting for this book....

I've read pretty much all that Marata/Tamara Rose has written and enjoyed each series.
After I read Brolach and was smitten with him. Never thought a demon could be sexy but Brolach was written to be just that! I couldn't wait to get to the second book in the series. You need to read them in order to appreciate the storyline and recognize other characters(love how they're all linked).
Ruby is Brolach's other half and too bad it took him losing her to realize this. Now he's trying to find her but she and her new friend have been snatched by another group.
This book was very short and I wanted to learn so much more. Again I'm left hanging at the end with sooooo many questions(will the Angels find Ruby in time, is Ruby pregnant, will she & Brolach work it out, will Braeden and the "walker" reunite, where does that leave Nolan, where is Constantine-I miss him, what happened to Lucas & Damon)...I have so many more questions....
Now I'll wait for the next...hopefully it won't be too long.

This one starts off hot and steamy, which is what is needed to save Brolach's life. These alphas are a bunch of "act now and ask questions later" males. Sometimes it works, but sometimes, the situation turns into the mess we have here. Brolach is sex on a stick and apparently, so are the Angelics. Demons are a bit more jealous and possessive than some of the other paranormals. At least, that's what seems to be the problem driving a wedge between Ruby and Brolach...that and pride. With Brolach putting his foot in his mouth, it's a race to save the women from the Mer, who also need breeders to perpetuate their species.

This story has the females in peril and the males showing their vulnerability. It's raw and sensual, dangerous and disturbing. I was left with a lot of questions that are begging to be answered. What has happened with Constantine and Ember? Where will Lucas and Damon end up? Will Heather and Braeden find each other? Is there anything else about Heather that we don't know? And, will Ruby and Brolach get their happy ending? I never assume two of Marata Eros' characters will live happily ever after, because I've watched some that I really liked be killed off. She has a daunting task ahead of her, and I can't wait to see where she takes our characters next. With her imagination and wit, I'm sure we can expect the unexpected!

HOLY hot and steamy

Woowza Eros always steps up to the sexiness of her books and out does herself with every new release. And this novella is no different and by no means disappoints us readers. Hot wet and steamy broluch gives ruby all she can take and some! The characters are always so strong willed till it comes to breeding and love. Then it the men who rule the men with iron fists around there prized jewels. Keeping them happy and very satisfied. 5stars (AC)

Your brain and your habitual thinking, forms deep grooves in your brain, just like the Grand Canyon, we call them habits. People who have achieved great wealth, have simply rewired the grooves in their brains, from the poverty consciousness to the wealth consciousness, your habitual thinking rules your life, to the clothes you wear, to the food you eat. Now here is the Million dollar question. HOW IS THE PARADIGM FORMED, -BY THE REPETITION OF INFORMATION. HOW IS THE PARADIGM CHANGED, -BY THE REPETITION OF INFORMATION.

Do yourself a favour...

First off, my surname is Kentuck... nothing to do with the fried chicken place... I have been a Soldier, Salesman, Actor etc. and for many years now a Cartoonist. I've had many ups and downs as far as 'Fortune' is concerned... and still do. I realised years ago that I had an inbuilt 'Failure' complex dating back to my childhood... I had a great family life, and my problems were self inflicted... Over the many years of my adult life I've read or tried to read many books about the Conscious and Subconscious Minds, and the power of Positive Thinking. The main 'Positive' thing I realised was that most of my 'woes' were self inflicted, and I was the only one capable of rectifying this problem, but I never did, I wasn't really taking in the 'info' in the books I had read. A few days ago I 'Googled' in 'How to reprogram the Subconscious Mind' and one of the books that came up was... funnily enough... ' How to Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind For Success and Prosperity ' by John Milton Lawrence. It was in the Kindle library so I was able to read a number of the pages before buying.

I realised a lot of what I was reading I had already read in other books over the years... But it was the way it was written, it was as if the author was there right in front of me, and his message was getting through at last. I was absorbing his words, and more importantly understanding them. I bought the book, and I'm enjoying every moment of reading and reading it's pages. John Milton Lawrence has the 'Gift' of teaching and believe me it is a "Gift' 'cos not all teachers Can Teach... even if they have all the knowledge in the world on their 'subject. SO... Do yourself and your Subconscious Mind a favour and read this book.

Now I know some reviewers are going to complain, as far as the Kindle version is concerned, that the book has 'problems' as to it's set up or format is concerned, but that's Amazon's fault not the authors and I'm sure that it will be rectified. It did not bother me at all, I was too busy reading the words to let it worry me. I am learning so much from this Man... even quotes from the Bible that I had never understood and... I am not religious in the conventional way... were making sense.

I am awarding Five Stars because the book deserves many more, even with the 'typos' or not. THANK YOU John Milton Lawrence.
